My boss just purchased an iPad, and he is looking for an app he will be able to use to record handwritten notes and to draw diagrams (he will be using a stylus). Essentially he would like to have a virtual whiteboard that he can use to take notes in meetings and then email the finished product back to himself. A combination of screencasting, desktop control, and an interactive whiteboard in one app. We can describe this app by four words: create, control, present and share. But let’s talk about it in order.
Whiteboard is the easy-to-use collaborative drawing app for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Mac. Two users can create pictures together over local Wi-Fi peer-to-peer. To use wireless collaboration, at least one user should be using Whiteboard for iOS, available on the iOS App Store: Microsoft Whiteboard App

Pat Flynn Whiteboard App For Ipad
Designed to enable iOS customers to “ideate, create and collaborate visually,” Whiteboard is basically a dead-simple way to brainstorm with your team. The cloud-based app makes it easy to collaborate across devices to work together in person and remotely.
Here’s the promotional trailer.
You can type draw on your virtual whiteboard, as well as add notes and more. And being cloud-based means Whiteboard keeps all your ideas safe in the Microsoft cloud.
Check out the key features:
- Create freely, work naturally: Whiteboard provides an infinite canvas where imagination has room to grow. Draw, type or add images. Use sticky notes to organize ideas. Stack things up and move them around. Designed for pen, touch and keyboard, Whiteboard allows you to share your ideas naturally. Intelligent ink recognizes shapes and makes creating tables a snap. And because the canvas expands along with your creations, you never have to worry about running out of space.
- Work together in real time, wherever you are: Whiteboard brings a team together—and gives them space to create. Teammates can huddle around a large touchscreen in the same room or work together on their own devices from around the world+. And, avatars on the canvas help you keep track of who is doing what and bring a natural rhythm to the interaction.
- Save automatically, resume seamlessly: Forget taking photos of conference room whiteboards or marking them with “Do Not Erase.” With the Whiteboard app, your brainstorming sessions are saved automatically to the Microsoft cloud, so you can pick up where you left off, whenever—and wherever—inspiration strikes next.
